Dogs have different interests, whether that's romping on the beach, sniffing on the trail, or playing tug and toss in the yard. We offer on-site and off-site activities daily, added right onto your dog's daycare or boarding visit.
Activities are matched to your dog's energy, skills, and social style. Each session comes with a report card: a summary of the outing with photos or videos from the handler, so you can keep up with the adventure. Siblings who go out together on off-site adventures get a discounted rate.
To get started: email our Outdoors team at outdoors@alphadoglodging.com and note the services you're interested in for any upcoming reservations. We'll send a one-time intake questionnaire to get to know your pup, then set up a schedule.

Off-site walks and hikes: drop off by 11am (grace period to 11:30am). On-site Tug & Toss, Flirt Pole, Snuggle Session, and Find It!: drop off by 12pm.
Your dog heads out with the Outdoors team, or gets their structured play session in the yard, worked into their regular daycare, training, or boarding day.
Pick-up for Outdoors dogs begins at 4pm, so there's plenty of time to finish the day's services. Want a post-adventure bath? Give the Spa team notice and an estimated pickup time.
Outdoors services run daily and attach to any daycare or boarding reservation. Next-day requests by 8pm; same-day requests need approval from the Outdoors team. Cancellations are accepted without penalty until 7am the day of. Standing reservations are welcome but don't apply during holidays and peak periods.
