Alpha Dog is great! My dog (3 year old chocolate lab Rue) absolutely loves it here! When we get there she starts crying and tries to open the door herself. She is always happy and exhausted when I pick her up. The staff is welcoming, helpful and flexible. We once had a family emergency and they were will to fit her in for a day even though they were booked. Rue and I recently moved up to San Rafael and we still drive down to Mill Valley instead of finding a new daycare/boarding facility. Its well worth the drive. Alpha Dog is wonderful and we are lucky to have found it!
